Pork Cochinita Pibil ITACATE 1 kg.Cochinita, one of the most famous dishes from the state of Yucatan. A delicious classic and ready to enjoy! To prepare, the pork is wrapped in banana leaves and marinated in sour citrus juice and achiote (which gives the dish its vibrant orange color) and simmered for hours until tender and falling apart. This cooking technique dates back to Mayan times and is called Pibil.

Our preparation tip:

Pour the contents into a pan and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes. 1 pack serves up to 7 tacos.

Tip: Cut a red onion into strips, cut 2 habaneros into small strips, mix with the juice of 2 limes and an orange, leave to rest in the fridge for about 2 hours and season with oregano. The perfect salsa for an iconic dish. Beware! Not only is it spicy, it's addicting!

Storage: Store in a cool and dry place. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 3 days.
