The dried hibiscus flowers (Spanish: Flor de Jamaica) are used to prepare the traditional Mexican drink "Agua de Jamaica". For the production, the dried flowers are poured with water, sugared to taste and refrigerated. The tea or iced tea has a lot of vitamin C and a diuretic effect.
