Product information "Chili Ancho getrocknet 100 g"

Chili Ancho getrocknet 100 g, schmecken süß und rauchig, erinnern leicht an den Geschmack von Rosinen. Sie sind mild bis mittelscharf. Die Chili Ancho ist die Chili Poblano in getrockneter Form und wird sehr häufig in der mexikanischen Küche verwendet. Auf Spanisch heißt sie "Chile Ancho". Sehr lecker schmeckt die Chili Ancho in der "Tortilla Suppe" (sopa de tortilla) und auch für Moles und Enchiladas ist sie eine der Hauptzutaten. Anderes Beispiel das Gericht "Carne de puerco en chile negro" - gegrilltes Schweinefleisch in einer Sauce aus Tomaten und Chili Ancho.

Die Chili Ancho ist mild und süß, beinahe schon mit leichtem Schokogeschmack, und gibt so den Gerichten eine ganz besondere Note. Diese Schote ist eine enge Verwandte der Chili Mulato. Nach dem Rösten und Schälen (was die Konsistenz eindeutig verbessert da die Schale leicht wachsig ist) wird die Chili Poblano meist in Dosen konserviert oder eingefroren. Wenn sie getrocknet wird, wird die Chili Poblano zu einer breiten, flachen Schote, welche man dann Chili Ancho nennt (also "breite Chili" übersetzt). Oft wird sie gemahlen und als Pulver zur Verfeinerung vieler mexikanischer Gerichte verwendet. Du kannst die Chili Ancho aber auch selbst im Molcajete mahlen, und so deine Rezepte authentisch zubereiten.

Chilis Ancho werden am Besten in luftdichten Behältern aufbewahrt, und halten sich so über mehrere Monate.
