Yellow corn tortillas naturally gluten-free 15 cm 500 g (approx. 20 pieces) by LA FONDA

Ideal for enchiladas, tacos, flautas and quesadillas!!

Nixtamal is used for the production, not conventional corn flour. For Nixtamal, the corn is cooked in water with lime, husked and then ground. This is a very old process used by the peoples of Mesoamerica and gives the corn, and therefore the tortillas, a special flavor.

Komali does not manufacture in Mexico, but sources 100% maize from Mexico for its production, guaranteed without genetic manipulation. Komali would like to bring the wonderful taste of the Mexican corn tortilla closer to his European customers and produces strictly according to traditional Mexican recipes. Try them too, you will be delighted!

Gluten free. Vacuum packed, once opened please consume within 4-5 days. Also suitable for freezing.

The best way to heat the tortillas is to use a hotplate ("Comal", available in our "Kitchen Utensils" category) or a flat pan. Sprinkle the plate with some water and the tortilla will get its original moisture content back.
